Drinking coffee & taking calcium supplements?

I drink coffee and straight espresso very often.
To make up to my body i take calcium chews and drink as much water as I can.

If I take calcium supplements and have a coffee right before or after I take the supplement, will the caffeine dissolve the calcium supplement in my stomach rendering it useless ?

I take the recommended dose of calcium for my age, but since I intake so much caffeine, should I possibly up my dose of calcium a little ? I drink about 2 cups of water for every three shots of espresso or cup of coffee I drink, and more throughout the day. I know espresso is very concentrated, but I wouldn't have time to do much else if I was busy trying to drink a cup of water for every shot.

I would ask a doctor, but my insurance is kind of screwed up for a bit...

Ok, I looked it up and I found this site. It says that caffiene does affect the absorption and excretion of calcium, but not that much.

it should say on the bottle of the supplements but if it doesnt then its ok i know because i take them to

Coffee won't deplete your calcium. Make sure your calcium tablets have magnesium and Vitamin D in it for your metabolism and the asorbsion of the calcium. Calcium can back you up so you need the magnesium to help keep you regular. Vitamin D is a aid in the asorbition. Calcium Citrate is the best calcium for asorbsion. Don't take coral calcium. It doesn't have the asorbation the Calcium Citrate does.
