Calcium from Sardines?

I would like to eat more Sardines in order to boost my Omega-3 Oil intake. I am skeptical becuase Sardines have a very Calcium content. I have a disease that my body cannot excrete excess Calcium intake.

Are the Calcium from Sardines only presence in the bone? How about the meat?

Sardines have a high content of calcium when packaged with the skin and bone. Eating it without the bones will reduce the amount of calcium in the source, however, there is the possibility that traces of the nutrient will still be present even if packaged without the bones. Always read the nutrition label before buying!

I would guess you are right about it being in the bones. I for one would eat another fish because removing the bones from sardines would be very monotonous.

Essentially each fish has some Omega-3 in it.
The one that first comes to mind is Salmon. If you eat that instead, you won't have to worry about any bones or Ca. Also, it comes in a can too.
