Calcium citrate? |
Has anyone ever heard of people who take calcium citrate regularly, have a better ability to tan? My mom has taken it for years, and swears that is has changed her skin somehow. Is there any correlation? not that it has turned her skin a funky color, but that it has changed her ability to tan, she gets a better tan in the summer. I had never heard of this before, so I did a little searching. I found a few occurrences of Calcium-blocking drugs that increased photosensitivity (which means you'll burn easier among other things). By relation, sufficient Calcium would likely decrease photosensitivity, which would in part make a tan more even because it would encourage more of a "slow burn". i took it and my feet turned brown |
