How much calcium do i need to take if i want to be taller?

Im 17 and 5.8" tall. I know that men tend to stop growing at the age of 18-20 so i've been taking tablet calcium everyday. I take about 1000 mg a day which apparently isnt enough to accelerate growth ( my diet is poor of calcium as well. I live in Thailand and barely drink milk or eat fish ). So my question is how much calcium do i need to accelerate growth ? I know it's somewhere between 1200 mg - 2000 mg but how much ? thanks

genetically i can be as tall as 6 feet.

i do regular exercise and take multi-vitamin everyday as well

i take tablets with meals so they're digested a lil more easily

well believe it or not, all the extra calcium that you are eating is going straight down the drain. the body absorbs what it can, and thrown away the rest in your daily morning stools. it seems your problem is absorbing all the calcium u ingest.
to increase the absorbtion of calcium, you should take vitamin d in the form of sunlight or tablets. if u decide to take tablets, though, go easy on them- they are not easily digested .

it seems to me that in yiour country, your height is considered a little better than average, though. so i guess you should not get uneasy about your height issue. since i believe that genetically you are not blessed with a good height, a proper diet and exercise can make a lot of difference. try long-lap swimming.
also, try pull-ups every day.

Since you are nearly an adult, you may not be able to grow any taller. Some people quit growing in their early teens even with a balanced diet.

Calcium on its own does not stimulate growth but you must get calcium somehow. Your bones will suffer immensely if you don't. Figure out a way to add it to your diet as soon as possible.

You need to talk to a doctor about getting your bones x-rayed. That can determine the age of your bones and whether you are able to take growth hormones or not.

I find it hard to believe that fish is the only food in Thailand with calcium. Do they have cheese or other dairy products? Calcium-rich vegetables?

dnt try other thing do skipping everyday.
i have a good experience.
