Caffeine headaches? |
What is the best way to get over a caffeine addiction/headaches? I've had at least one diet coke/diet pepsi a day for as long as I can remember but yesterday when I ran out I had the worst headache. I don't want to be a slave to caffeine but is there a good substitute drink? Drink a lot of water and a little bit of unsweetened tea. The headaches will eventually go away. If there isn't enough caffeine in the unsweetened tea, try one or two ibuprofen only when the headache hits, and ween off that, too. Don't take Excedrin, it is loaded with caffeine. The good news is that the headaches only last about three days. Cold turkey is tough. |
