Caffeine question?

Ok, im going to start running in the morning but the problem im running into is being so tired. Now i was thinking once i wake up say 6:00, i take a caffiene pill(what ever dossage is recommeneded) and 30 minutes later go joging. Could i do this?

I dont realy ever have caffein. Never drink coffee and once in a while might have a soda. I know when im tired when at work i grab a soda and it does help alot. My main question is would it be ok to take it that early in the morning? I would only take it once a day because i dont want to have to get addicted.

Some other questions i do have. How much caffeine is in say a can of coke and how much in a cup of coffie in MG. I think they sell 100mg caffeine tablets but im not sure. If i do take this i want to take a low amount. And i would prob not take it every day.

Go to energyfiend.com. They have all the details about caffeine in each type of drink/food.

Caffeine tablets would be more caffeine than you need. They may cause your energy level to crash mid-morning. And the high dose could make you jittery.

You could get the best lift from drinking green tea in the morning. Green tea has been shown to increase metabolism and has antioxidants, too! I love Republic of Tea or Gypsy Tea. Try the flavored varieties if you don't like just regular green tea.

A can of coke is 34 mg. A cup of coffee is 100 to 200 mg. per cup. It really depends on the bean and brewing method.

I am the worlds biggest fan of caffeine pills, but they have their bad side. They ARE addicting, no matter how much you swear you'll only take one. If you take one at 6 am, pretty soon you're going to start crashing around 10 (am) and are gonna want another one. For awhile I was taking about 4 a day, along with several pieces of caffeine gum. Needless to say, that is NOT good for you. If you CAN keep it to one a day, then they're pretty harmless. "As safe as a cup of coffee", the box proclaims.
