Is it dangerous to have CT scans 2 months apart?

My doctor wants me to have another one in Feb. and I just had one in December. I'm worried about too much radiation exposure. I had one in September and they found a nodule in my lung, then the next one they found 3 nodules. My pulmonary doctor said they look benign and to have another CT scan in June or July, but my primary dr. wants one in Feb. What do you think?

There's no problem at all having them this closely. Unless you have occupational exposure, the chances of you getting any sort of radiation from a couple of CT scans is very unlikely. You'd have to have several scans a day for months to run that risk or work around it on a dail basis.
I wouldn't be worried at all about it-I've has several MRIs and have no residual effects. You need to get answers on your condition now rather than worry about possible exposure. I'd have another now and make sure that the results are sent to your pulmonary doctor as well so he/she can be kept aware of the tests and treatments that you're having.

The benefits outweigh the risks.

Definately check into what this stuff is. I would do a CT or and MRI if needed. Also a biopsy is not a bad idea.
