CT scans, X-rays are they safe?

Specifically how many of these exposures to radiation per year is safe?

I've had a handful recently for various medical reasons so I need to know.

i am not sure how many you can get but they are not really safe

yes it is ok from time to time. it is the medical personell who have to be exposed over and over that need to worry.
there are times when they can not stand be hind lead wall and are exposed many many times daily over years.

The CT scans are fine and the xrays are fine in moderation. You wear the lead cape to protect the areas not being tested.

Think of it this way...it's safer to get these two simple tests, than to risk having an undetected disease or condition.
