CT Scan? ADVICE??!!!? |
So tomorrow I'm getting a CT scan for personal reasons. I found out that you have to drink this liquid 2 times before the CT scan. What does this liquid taste like? Is it realllyy bad? My friends said it almost made them puke. I need some advice I'm really scared about it. Lol. FYI: I have to take it at school.... I believe that you are talking about barium. It tastes like liquefied chalk. My advice is to take large swallows of it. Chugging would be better but I've never been able to do that with barium. Sipping only makes it last longer. Ask for the flavored mixure,it's not that bad....kind of tastes like a milkshake. |
