CT Scan Question?

Hello!

Last year I had a CT scan of my abdomen done and I remember the contrast fye making my arm burn badly and making me feel like I wet my pants. My question is this: What causes these weird things to happen when it's injected? It was bizzare feeling and I was just curious. Thanks!

It's the iodine running through your veins. Not completely sure why it feels like peeing your pants though - maybe you could ask your nurse next time you have it done or go to a doctor's appointment.

This warm feeling is normal when they put the dye in. I don't know of anyone who has not felt it.
