I wish to hear your experiences with severe CHF ^& edema, if you have it.?

I have severe CHF after massive MI. Ejection fraction is 50% but I am swelling badly with edema all over & in great pain. I tried lasix& congeners and they failed TOTALLY to induce urination. My labs are normal, creatinine clearance, albumin, lipids, liver, kidney ,etc. Anyone of you failed with torsemide or loop diurectics, like me???
I want to try spironolactone with my ACE-inhibitors - it is said they are synergistic & give results in cases of extreme edema refractory to other Rx drugs. I have breathing pains, anxiety gasps, tightness in arteries, and fluids rising within me. HCTZ did nothing also. Loop drugs made me very ill and not a drop of urination induced. Other than a new heart, cardiologists have no definitive remedy to take away my deadly edema and save my heart and life. I can only try to sleep sitting up against a wall, if I recline I suffer breathlessness. Christians & believers in Ha-SHEM, pray for me & ask for mercy on me. Reply if you have specific info on this.

I am so sorry for you, Please allow me to pray for you. I am in the early stages of CHF...Please, forgive me...God bless you, I only can imagine what you are experiencing.

Have your doctors suggested a Dobutamine drip, a pacemaker? Hve they mentioned an LVAD for short term until they can somehow diurese you? Have they prescribed a very low dose of morphine for you to take when you have the anxiety gasping? I'm sorry I can't offer more.
