For years & years we hear what the everyday Doctors say about this so-called Disease as well as the more Specialist type Doctors.In the end,NONE are any closer to any type of Understanding nor REASON. I want to know what YOU,America,YOU the WORLD THINK?All Fibromyalgia,CFS,MS,Parkinsins,Diabetes.... Victoms...Why do you think you have this problem?Why do PPL have these health problems more today then ever b4?No DOCTOR RESPONSES PLEEZ!! Thank you! I want YOUR IDEAS NOT THE DOCTORS OR BOOKS...DOES ANYONE GET THIS?What in your life changed prior to your diagnosis? The simple I answer that I believe is the cause is a person's over exposure to toxic chemicals in some form or another. This might be from pesticide spraying (inside a house or even in the environment). It could be from any synthetic and toxic chemicals used in many industries. I was exposed to high levels of fluoride from a fertiliser plant in the womb and also again pre puberty. The age and development also seems a pivotal thing. The initial exposure might weaken the immune system in a growth period and then later or repeated exposures finally lead to the conditions.
The good news is that I believe these are reversible. I was able to heal myself and be healthier than ever before in my life in my 40's and 50's. I had to find a chemical free house way out in the country and go back to eating organic food straight from the ground. No meat, no processing, no dairy, no processed grain etc.
The immune system can recover given the appropriate conditions. I didn't take medicine to heal, I stopped exposure to all synthetic chemicals and allowed my body to heal itself. It's hard. It means many sacrifices and lifestyle changes. It can happen through creating an environment to live in where exposure to all synthetic chemicals is removed. Gradually when healing begins, re-exposure to some things can happen. I live in the city again now and the only real problem I have is with cheap perfumes. Doctors do not practice nutrition. There are 8 known sugars for cellular communication, see book here:http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Power-Suga...
What all damaged cells have in common with disease is one or more of the missing cell surface sugars.
Put them back in the diet and the body achieves balance. When the body achieves balance, there simply isn't anymore room for disease.
This simple truth is what the pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know and doctors are merely pawns in the game. They are great for trauma care, though. The bottom line to getting any disease is the bodies inability to fight off the "invaders" (toxins, virus, bacteria); or it's ability to heal itself. Drugs don't heal, they just relieve the symtoms and cause more side effects. The body is having problems fighting and healing itself, because it's cells are missing vital elements to communicate to each other. There are 8 nutrients that the body that cells need and only 2 are being provided in our diets. These are carbohydrates (sugars), or glyconutrients. Do some research on glyconutrients and you will be amazed. I've found the answers ... maybe:
One by one...
==Fibromyalgia==
Abstract:
Fibromyalgia is caused by an autoimmune overreaction towards a suspected pathogen. This overreaction causes the accidental inflammation of peripheral and central glial cells. The glial cells get inflammed and compress the nerves providing the range of symptoms.
Theory: It's glialitis, as in inflamation of the glial cells supporting the nerves. The cells on the skin would be more recpetive to the touch of the cells just above them, if there wasn't a glial cussion anymore. The neurons wouldn't be able to feel the cells as well which can cause parasthesia and pain, much like trangeminal nerve is seen. Sleep disturbances are caused by the pain and tingling, etc. Weakness in the limbs would again be that they couldn't carry the information as well.
Now, the Brain Fog clearly means that the glial cells inside the brain are also affected and not getting as much neutrients as usual.
Headaches, myoclonic twitches, pain, etc, can all be explained by all the glial cells becomming acutely inflamed, and putting pressure on them. Not getting enough information and not sending enough information.
Post trauma, after major surgery, and Lyme Disease trigger, all point to it being maybe an autoimmune reaction. Perhaps the immune systems gets too excited and accidentally starts inflamming the glial cells. Much like Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.
Again, some anti-inflammatory treatments such as ibuprofen and lontophoresis may temporarily reduce pain symptoms, it is CLEARLY inflammation related. We don't think it causes inflammation because it's specific and autoimmune, just attacking the glial cells for some reason. That's the ONLY place it causes inflammation.
As for other cause theories, serotonin and dopamine abnormalities are symptoms not causes. Stress can put a strain on the immune system and might help to get it overexcited. The Epstein-Barr Virus, other viruses, toxins, can all cause an autimmune reaction where the immune system accidentally starts inflamming glial cells. Just like in Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.
CURE: immuno-suppressants and removal of the pathogen like any other allergen.
==CFS==
Theory: CFS is caused by an acute, disseminated, neuropathy. Specifically, excitotoxicity. That's right, the nervous system is wearing itself out by slowly excitotxizing itself. A sudden, unprecedented release of glutamate. Or perhaps a death of the glutamte neurotransmitter transporter. The common causes point to autoimmune but it might not be. The excitment might cause the vasodilation which puts chronic pressure on the nerves, which causes the diffuse pain, headaches, etc. It could be a yet unseen virus or bacteria, or perhaps a rather specific toxic that causes it. Perhaps some specific molecule either by itself or caused by an organism or several. A molecule that acts like Amphetamine on Serotonin Transporter, except it acts on the glutamate transporter.
just a theory.
CURE: Glutamate Antagonist
much the same way Amphetamine overdose is treated with antipsychotics.
==MS==
Theory: Well we already know that it causes destruction of the oligarocytes. But the question is how? or why? Well autoimmune is nice, as you know, I prefer it. But if you want something OUT of the box, I could postulate perhaps an excitotoxicity of the oligarocytes themselves? Perhaps there is some molecule acting on some neurotransmitter transporter that only affects the oligarocytes, and they are slowly excitotoxizing themselves.
just a theory.
CURE: some neurotransmitter antagonist, whichever one is excitotoxizing the oligarocytes.
==Parkinsons==
Theory: The've pretty much figured that one out. I like the toxin theory.
But, it's just a theory.
CURE: whatever the cure is for that one.

oorelisysoo@yahoo.com Since you edited your question to ask what happened that caused MY case of fibromyalgia. I slipped on a wet floor and smacked the back of the base of my head on a concrete step. From there I started having serious sleep issues which lead to all the other well known symptoms of fibromyalgia. Every case of fibromyalgia is different thats why they dont know what causes it. I believe it's genetic (fIbromyalgia that is - it's the only one I have experience with). My mother has it and I began showing the symptoms at around age 7 after a few traumatic occurances in life.
However - I was diagnosed only 2 years ago after being told I had mono - about 4 or 5 different times. I did have mono at least once - and have heard theories about epstien barr and FM, not sure if they are connected - but it's possible in my case. The mono may have "triggered" my fibro - I'm not sure.
I think it's like alcoholism or something like that - the genetic predisposition is there, and then extreme stress like an injury or life changing circumstances will trigger the disease. After that - it just never goes away.
P.S. I am SOOO tired of hearing about the "miracle" cures and answers to this and other chronic illnesses. If any of them worked - we'd all be healthy.
It is not too much chemicals, not enough chemicals, or not eating the right blend of sugar or whatever else has been thought up - those are money making scams - many have been discredited already. I was recently diagnosed with CFS and I am waiting for results on Fibro and MS.
I think Mold is to blame for at least some cases. I was exposed to black Mold for 3 years. I now have a long list of medical problems. My daughter was born completely deaf...and was deaf for the first 6 months of her life due to the mold exposure. We moved shortly before she was to have surgery to put tubes in her ears. At her pre-op visit, the dr dropped his script pad...she actually turned her head!! Our dr is convinced the black mold was making all of us sick.
In speaking with others who have fibro, ms and CFS..many of them have been exposed to mold. The black mold-stacchybotreus(sp?) seems to be the most problematic...and the one that most of us have been exposed to.
EDIT-I havent met a dr yet who thinks black mold...or any mold for that matter causes fibro or anything else. The dr thought the mold was causing my daughters deafness and our respiratory problems..not the CFS or Fibro. We all had headaches and frequent coughs and colds while exposed to the mold.
The "mold theory" is merely one of the things I think could cause these.
I also think some of the Fibro cases may be made up. There is a high incidence of people who are bi-polar/manic depressive and those who have Fibro.
I have met a lot of people with "Fibro" who are fine when it comes to doing anything fun-dancing, playing sports, going to clubs...but then refuse to go to work cuz they are "disabled". Not saying everyone is like that...but I have met more than my fair share. "so-called Disease"?
no, more "ppl" don't have it today then ever "b4."
yes, even people in Africa have it.
your research, like your spelling and grammar, is seriously flawed. I believe either we are not getting our deep sleep in order to replenish our immune systems or we are exposed to some kind of trigger that sets our immune systems off. I think it may be a mold of some kind that we breathe in. My reason for my fibro/polychondritis is mold exposure and lack of good sleep. |
