CFS & Fibromyalgia questions?

I am still a bit new to all of this and have a few questions :)

1. I read you can have digestive problems with this, is it normal to be sick to tummy alot with the syndromes?
2. Should I "fight" or "give in"? I walk twice a day for a few miles but pay for it in the long run....for the longest time I felt I was just not pushing myself hard enough or being lazy...recently that seemed to backfire and for the last 2 days my muscles & body just ache & throb, and even tho I sleep at night when I "crash" this bad I end up sleeping most of the day too. Is this normal?

A friend had an emergency, so I have been watching her 5 kids for the last week and the last 2 days/night I have been in so much pain and can't hardly get around, and just sleep whenever I can. I watched them at her house & she doesn't have A/C, and it's been in the 90s, I heard heat can affect this condition?

I'd sure appreciate any info or advice. I joined a CFS yahoo group but thought I'd ask here too. Thanks!

i had been diagnosed with fibro for almost 5 years. yes stomach problems can go with it, as in diarrhea or constipation or a combo of both.
i try to stay active but some days are worse than others. i go thru good cycles and bad cycles. can last for days weeks or months. yes after a hard day of yard work in the heat, i am out for the count for a few days to recoup. try to find a dr that deals with these conditions there are some new medications and thoughts that might help. i was put on zoloft to regulate the chemicals in my body and that helped ALOT. i got to where i was feeling better and finally weaned myself off of them. there are doctors that will help and that understand. there are others than think it "is all in your head" and offer no help. keep trying and keep your head up
