Help with CFS? |
Member since: November 02, 2006 A lot of questions from such a young lady. Don't be afraid. Your treatment depends on what kind of a doctor is treating you. None of them should be painful. If you are seeing a psychologist for the accompanying depression, he won't hurt you. All he/she will do is listen to you talk about things. Other doctors may prescribe medication for treatment of symptoms or even physical therapy (which is nothing more than exercising with specific exercises). You might want to consider seeing a massage therapist for a weekly or less often massage. Anyhow CFS normally goes away on its own with or without treatment. hey emily i am 13 too and i just got diagnosed with post viral fatiuge syndrome ive been looking for someone to write to whos got the same problem so if you ever need someone to talk to im open Report It |
