Are MRI's and CAT Scans 100% precise? |
Is there any way these machines could make mistake or miss something or an area of your body? These machines these days all sound so fancy and the manufacturer always claims its accurate but the reality is that no machine is 100% accurate. Nothing is ever 100% but it is close! absolutely, there is no medical test that is 100%, alot of them will show things that turn out to be just shadows, and some of them will show nothing when something is there. that is why a good doctor will use these tests in conjunction with other tests, bloodwork, ultrasounds, etc. and your symptoms or they will send you to a specialist. The machines only provide the data, it's the technicians who interpret it. |
