Are there any cat scans or MRIs to see exactly what is going on in the inner ear? any good ear surgeons in NYC

I feel like Dr's rely on the stethascope or whatever you call it to look into your ears but cant see exactly what is actually wrong with the INNER ear. SO I was wondering if there are any MRI'sCAT Scans that are primarily for the inner ears. Not the brain. Just ears. Can anyone recommend me some good inner ear surgeons in NY?

cat scan isn't really good to see whats going on in the inner ear, however, mri is very good in detecting blockages or tumors near or in the inner ear or the brain. there aren't presently any mri's for inner ears however, the general mri machines do perfectly fine in detecting blockages or tumors in any area of the body.
