Was it the cat scan that made me violently ill last night? |
I had to stop eating before mid night wednesday, plus drink a bottle of ready cat between 9:00 and 10:00pm wednesday thursday i had an 11:00am appointment to get a cat scan,so i had to drink a second bottle thurs 1hr before the scan, then upon arival i had to drink 1 glass more right before the test. Then they put an IV in my arm and did the scans.Thursday evening around 7:00 pm i got really cold,i mean i couldn't warm up.By 8pm i was starting to vomit and every joint and muscle in my body ached. Then around 11:45pm i woke up hot,i was finaly rid of that cold feverish feeling.Today i feel like a million bux.Do you think that the IV or the scan it self had something to do with this?I havent felt that sick in yrs,it was accutually scary. The radiation did not cause your illness. I do not know what prep media you drank, but that may have caused your problem. More likely, it was something you ate/drank after the scan. |
