CAT scan vs. MRI? |
What is the difference between a CAT scan and an MRI? I cracked a bone in my foot and my foot is still swolen after 5 weeks and it still hurts. What do u think that the doctor is looking for? (I think i broke my cuniform bone in my foot but not sure it is swolen kinda in the middle to a little to the left of my upper foot) not sure if that helps. CT scan uses multiple xrays to obtain a 3D picture. MRI uses magnets to obtain a 3D picture. That's the basic difference between the two. |
