| *Home>>>CAT Scans |
Back in Jan. I had a Cat scan done on my Adomen, because I w ashaving pain,I got copies of it yesterday, and its |
it says The gallbladdere is present and may be mildly prominent but no stones are identified. There is no specific evidence of biliary dilation. Since then I have had a swollen adomen and pains under my right ribcage and my shoulder blade. I keep asking my Dr. if it could be my gallbladder but he says it has been checked and it was fine. I didnt realize the test was done back in Jan.I have aniety and he blames it all on anxiety. I have had recent blood tests done and they are fine,if I am having gallbladder problems would it show up in my blood tests. I have several other medical problems ans this is all making me more stressed.Any advice on gallbladder problems and how to know? What do you think the cat scan means about the gallbladder being midly prominent? The Dr. who evaluated your cat scan feels your Gallbladder may be slightly enlarged. You don't have stones, and your bile ducts aren't dilated, which means its doubtful you have some sort of biliary duct obstruction further down the duct. Go with a ultra sound. I had a friend with a similar problem and was in pain for 2 years. They said they had Acid Reflux and it ended up being their gallbladder. |
