What All Is Involved with a CAT scan of Your head ? |
i am getting a cat scan done of my head tomorrow and dont know whats involved can anyone help Pretty simple just a little noise. Not as closed in as a MRI. If it is with contrast they will inject a dye into bloodstream that will make you feel kinda flush. You just lie on a trolley and they push the trolley into a drum and they take pictures of your head. No pain, no discomfort and 10-15 mins and its finished. Easy as pie. IT is painless. You wil be placed on a table and your head will be placed in a scanner. the machine that scans makes noisies bumping and whisking sounds. usually takes about 15 minutes. |
