Does anyone know any side affects from a Cat Scan?

I had a Cat Scan about 4 months ago, it was for my chest which turned out fine ..but now I'm having problems with my throat. Can the radiation really affect you and what can happen?

Although there is a considerable dose of radiation involved in a cat scan, the amount isn't big enough that one would expect symptoms to result. Your present problem is almost certainly something unrelated.

No you don't have to drink it, only with a Cat scan. You will have to hold your breath when they say to but it really isn't all that bad of a test. Good Luck with the results.
