I had a quadruple CABG 2 years ago and recently had a positive nuclear stress test.?

Does this mean that my grafts are blocked or could this mean that the blood is still trying to route through my blocked coronary arteries and not through the grafts. I have had diabetes since I was 16, so that has been 38 yrs now. I have also had 2 non q wave MIs and PTCA of my RCA with 2 stents.

By doing coronary angiogram and checking the grafts same time they can tell for sure, so maybe that is the next step. Sometimes, if there is a stenosis (narrowing in the graft) it can be treated with a balloon+stent (PTCA), depends on where this narrow area is.
Good luck, talk to your cardiologist.

the grafts are in your blocked arteries so a positive stress test means something is wrong! tho if you had a positive stress test im sure your cardiologist has a plan! its possible to get another surgery to correct this but you really need to take a serious look at your lifestyle! docs are amazing and can do alot to keep you alive but they arent miracle workers it takes two to be healthy do your part
