I do not understand what you mean by failed CABG. Had you given some more details I would have suggested other possible treatment or medications. You must be aware of the facts about CABG. However, which I would like to inform you here again-

CABG is Cardiac Artery Bypass Grafts. It is a surgical procedure in which one or more blocked coronary arteries are bypassed by a blood vessel graft to restore normal blood flow to the heart. These grafts usually come from the patient's own arteries and veins located in the leg, arm, or chest.

Before doing this surgical procedure the doctors would have done an angiogram and assessed the position completely. Even if your mother has the tendency of getting blocks again, generally the Grafts made will work for a minimum period of 5 years at least. By regularly taking blood thinning medications like Asprin and cholesterol control medicines of Vastatin and by avoiding fat the grafts should work for even more number of years.

When your mother had already CABG no other treatment be tried and you can consult the cardiologist again and have treatment. I think she should become alright.

Here for your information I would like to inform you that I had a CABG X 4 surgery in 1990 and then again a CABG X 3 surgery in 2002 (after a gap of 13 years) and now I am doing alright. -

I heard a real qualified doctor in Kottayam, Kerala, performs a treatment where the patient is put on drip of a certain medicine whose long term side effects are not known. The patient has to be in bed and take the drip for 4 hours. The drip slowly dissolves the blocks. There is no surgery or such discomforts. You should check this option.

Dr.Dean ornish's reversing heart disease program is better for your mother. It is a world famous program.Where are you from? This program can do under a cardiologist.
Dr. Dean ornish published his book by the tittle ofDR.DEAN ORNISH PROGRAM FOR REVERSING HEART DISEASE.
This book is available in every good English book shop.
Diet control, stress reduction ,meditation, visualisation are the main elements in this treatment.
Good luck.

Ayurveda is very effective.
