I have angina, but every now and again my pulse rate goes really weird missing beats and then double beat?

im also waiting for CABG.

It means That ur heart rhythm is irregular may be only ventricular premature beats or some other arrhythemia.Get ur Dr for an ECG checkup & if the arrhythmia doesnot show in ECG u can get a 24 hrs ECG recording by way of Halter monitor which is a small device & will record all irregualrity when they occuar by this ur Dr can diagnose the type of arrthymia & can prescribe medicine accordingly bcaz anti arrythmic drugs are of different class & function sholdn't take any medicine randomly . Bcaz if ur waiting for CABG that means u have undergone angiography & condition requires immediate attention .These arrthymias r part of angina & poor circulation of coronaries .

If its anything that concerns you as a health risk, then please contact a doctor.

Has your gp ever prescribed propanalol just the thing for that it's a betta blocker that slows down the heart beat.type it in engine and have a read.good luck

Have you spoken to your doctor to inform him if not do so are you taking your spray as prescribed

Sounds like AF - Atrial Fibrillation - very commonly found - and treated with drugs like Digoxin. Speak to your doctor and good luck with your CABG... It'll give you a new lease of life!

Get an ecg done yr doc can arrange this for you i;ve just had it done and they found i needed a pacemaker for my irregular heart beat go see yr doc today to be sure

I would strongly urge you to attend your GP and discuss your symptoms with him. It sounds like you are having Arhythmias (abnormal heart rhythm) and that you need to have an ECG (tracing of the hearts rhythm and electrical current) to determine the cause and nature of this.

It's great to have all these 'doctors' here...you do need to consult your primary care provider for an ecg. Sounds like your throwing PVCs with compensation.

Talk to your doctor. If this is a new symptom, he needs to know.
