Post C-section uterus? Is that my uterus or scare tissue?

Okay first, I know the best info would be to call my doc but since I am not in pain or even overly concerned I will wait until my 6 week check and see a) if there are any changes and b) not bother her over something this silly. Yes, I know they are there to allay fears but this isn't fear is it curiosity... ( I know I tell a lot of people to call their docs so I thought I would just get this out of the way!! :) )

So with addressed, I had a c-section exactly two weeks ago Tuesday (and my baby is doing great! She is so sweet!) I am healing well and am surprised at how quickly.

I had my staples out last week Tuesday and only recently dared to really go poking around anywhere near my incision.

I had a navel to crotch type cut because my first child was born by an emergency c-section and cross cuts don't heal as well as just making the same cut and taking out the old scar tissue (says my doc).

***Ran out of space!*** Give me a minute and I will add more...

Above my incision by about an inch and well under the skin I can feel something firm that feels like a muscle. But the weird things is that it is small, maybe two inches wide, not round like I would imagine a freshly stretched out organ would be.

So is that my uterus or scar tissue?

Thanks!

I doubt it very much that you can feel your uterus
maybe its some muscle? If it does not hurt and you do not bleed excessively and you feel fine you will have to be patient I assume, till you see your doctor.
