C-Section Stomach?

How do you lose weight when you have a C-section stomach? I do not eat a lot of junk food. what exercise would be the best for my stomach.

No matter how much weight I lose and how thin I become or how much I exercise I cannot lose my stomach. Why? I asked my OB. He told me (I had two c-sections not by this OB) that a persons stomach is made of of 7 layers. Most often OB's just bunch the whole thing together and stitch instead of taking the time to stitch each layer individually. It is quicker for the patient and less time for the surgeon. The result is a pooch. Your stomach doesn't go completely flat because the layers are not stitched individually. So there is nothing that can be done for me except have the incision cut out and restitched.

This is what I was told.

my best friend recently had a c-section and she said she cut down on junk food and went jogging everyday

C-sections are tricky. To tell you the truth, you may diet and lose weight by exercising; BUT if you have a lot of hanging skin most likely it will never come off. You'll need to go to a surgeon once your done having all your kids then have the excess removed. Sorry it sucks, but that's how it works. I would still recommend that you eat right and exercise either way.
