C-Section Pain 4 weeks after surgery? |
I had a c section about 4 and 1/2 weeks ago. This was my second one. after about 3 weeks i was fine, no more pain, but about a week ago i started having severe pain in the right side of my incision. it is this burning pain anytime i move. if i am sitting still i am fine but when i move i am in soooo much pain. The nurse told me it sounds like i pulled my muscle. Has anyone else ever experianced this?? I dont want this pain the rest of my life! I had the same thing and was told by the nurse it was due to pulled muscles or stretched ligaments. Come to find out it was surgical adhesions that I had taken care of via laparoscopy a few years later. Mention that to your OB at your next visit-not the nurse-see what he/she says. Good luck :) my wife is going thrue the excact thing right now, but it will go away, it can take over 6 weeks to heal I would see or call and speak directly to your doctor right away. You could have an infection. I had a c-section recently and it doesn't seem to be in a spot where you would pull a muscle. I agree you need to rest again and take some motrin |
