My c section?

my c section scar is all red and swollen and at sometimes during the day burns
not really pain but sometimes burns
it looks a little bruised also
what is wrong with it
(it is 2 years old and i never had anything like this before)

I bet you have a little yeast infection on your scar. That was totally annoying to me! I thought my Doc had lost his mind, but I guess it's little scar line is nice and moist and stays warm in the summer so enter the infection. He gave me some cream and it was gone along with the red. Like it isn't obvious enough, it was swell having a bright red color on it. It will go away and leaves no signs of itself. I don't remember exactly but I think this happened about 4 years after mine

So welcome, take care~ Report It

have you gained any weight, it might have gotten stretched ,

don't know tink, go see your doc.

You may have a delayed infection - it shouldn't burn. My c-sesctoin scar healed perfectly - I know lucky me - Make an appt to see your dr. about it. They may refer you to a dermatologist but they can help you better.
