I just had a c-section to remove a huge cyst on my ovary that happen almost 2 weeks ago, am i ready to drive? |
I few days ago i had a cyst on right ovary the size of 12 cms ,the doctor told me that it could be removed with a procedure called laparsocopy or a c-section ,,and doctor finally removed the cyst by doing the c-section ,,and now im recovering after almost 2 weeks my question is can i drive now ? The way you ask the question suggests that you're not really interested in the correct answer but rather try to calm down the inner voice in you. no-not for 6 weeks Could you drive before? I had a complete hysterectomy and drove after 9 days. You're not supposed to drive if you are still on painkillers. Your reflexes might be slower than normal because your stomache is still sensitive. check with your doctor, i would say if you are taking any kind of pain meds--then no you should not drive...but talk to your doctor when you are able to resume driving No, that was a major operation. Take it easy for 6 weeks or you could do internal damage. Don't you think this is a question you might better ask your doctor's office, rather than a random sampling of teenagers and strangers? You need to ask your doctor when its safe for you to drive again. I had to wait six weeks before I could drive after a similar surgery. Having a c-section procedure done is just like having a baby. Your outside skin my look like it's healed, but the inside is not. It takes about six weeks to be able to get back into your normal routine. Honey take your time you will appreciate this advice later in life. |
