3months after c section, lower back pain with pain shooting down legs? |
I had a C section with my second child 3 months ago. When the doctor was putting in the spinal block he hit a nerve. Since this i have had lower back pain with pain radiating down my hips. It has recently gotten worse since i have become more active. that should say radiating down my legs not hips! I just had surgery to have my ovaries both removed and also to have a double hernia repaired from giving vaginal birth to my oldest son (25 yrs. now) anyway, i have the shooting down the leg pain and my doctor said that this is quiet common sideefftect. He has put me on Nuerontin for this pain. I have been on it for a little bit over a month and have to still sleep with my legs elevated on a pillow, but it is starting to help with the pain. I hope this helps. |
