PID - Can you get it during C section? |
when i was 7th month pregnant i started having a lot of discharge with bad smell, and few times a little bit of abdominal pain. After the c section i started having a lot of pain (not the scar)and now i got diagnosed with PID for 3rd time although i haven't had a vaginal culture taken.Ive been taking antib. and after i finish them im ok for a little while and then the pain comes bask again. The ting is I didnt have any problems before the pregnancy. Is it possible that I got some bacteria during the pregnancy or C section and than pasted to my husband and then he gives it back?Is it possible that I had some bacteria but it didn't showed on the blood tests and it didnt have symptoms for YEAR and a half?Is it possible that my husband have it but it didnt show on his blood tests. What exactly is the type of test that we need?Is it only bacteria that can cause pid? What sould i do so I dont get it again? I am not sure if you said you did not have PID before your |
