After a C-section, is it harder to get your tummy muscles back in shape? I know you have to wait longer for exercise. Is this a myth? Naturally you don't want to do any strenthening or your muscles until advised by your OB-GYN. C-sections grab ahold of your abdomen and pelvic floor. Although when you are ready here are 3 really good post c-section soothing strengthening excercizes, as with any excercise after c-sections you must be extremely careful. your ab mucsles are very sore, it takes about 8 weeks to get back to 'normal; and about 1 yr to completely heal up. yes it is but breastfeeding will help shrink your uterus and help get you back to normal |
