Triple bypass surgery?

Hi, one of my in laws is going to go in for triple bypass surgery... I was just wondering if anyone had any family, friends, etc.. that had it and what to expect. I am just very worried. And how can I show support to the family in this time?( I am not the best at expressing emotions.) Thanks .

Thanks to both of you for your support and wisdom. He underwent the surgery and is recovering just fine.

He'll be very inactive for a few weeks, then gradually begin to do more and more. If you know some subjects, or fiction writers, your in-law likes, get them a couple of books to read to help pass the time.

I slept on the couch semi-reclining, as that was most comfortable for my chest, and I would not roll.

I did not go back to work for 8 weeks after my triple bypass surgery.

my dad had triple bypass surgery 3 years ago. And now he was fine and okay. Though he is taking lots of meds after that until now. With good surgeon, client's faith and strict medication adherence, maybe he would be fine too. Just dont make them upset, and pray helps a lot. hope he will be okay.
