Bursitis Project?

I'm doing a project in health class where I have to research bursitis, and one of the things we need to know is when bursitis was discovered and how. After searching forever, I can't come up with anything. Also, there don't seem to be any trends or graphs that have to do with bursitis? Please help?

This is out of my field; I've entered "discovery of bursitis," and got nothing significant to answer your Q. Entered "first diagnosis of bursitis" and found two site that may, or may not be relevant.

If you post this Q over the weekend, you should get better responses b/c people are off on the weekends, and will likely be online on Yahoo-A. Its a weeknight, and most people have to be ready for work tomorrow.
