Health-Bursitis-cause& relief?


Bursitis-in leg and hip, after knee operation --cause and cure

Cause=overuse and repeated movements, a sudden injury, long periods of pressure on an area, aging and gradual degeneration of the bursa, arthritis, infection (septic bursitis), or trauma (traumatic bursitis).

Cure=Resting and immobilizing the affected area, applying ice to reduce swelling, and taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to relieve pain and reduce inflammation, unless it is caused by an infection in which case you'll need antibiotics.
