What are your experiences with bursitis?

My doctor has diagnosed me with bursitis. What were your experiences with the condition as in pain and location on the body . How long did it last and what remedies did you use? What do you think caused your bursitis and how intense was the pain. My doctor explained the condition and I also did a search and learned all about it. But it would be very helpful hearing from those who have experienced it. Thank you.

my bursitis flares up probably once a year.. Real bad-in the winter.. I get a
Cortisone shot and that helps.. I am pretty sure that bursitis is a branch of arthritis. Good luck Grant M in Pennsylvania
