Ive had bursitis for 18 days swelling gone down a bit but skin starting to flake is this good or bad?

bursitis started 18 days ago onto my 3rd different anti biotic swelling gone down a bit but the skin on surface is starting to flake is this a good or bad thing desprate to get bk to work

It was the first symptom with me.
First time I picked the flakes and thought what I had was a septic infection because of picking at them in a hostile environment! Didn't do much about it until the elbow swelled spectacularly.35cc of fluid sucked out over three visits to the quack.
I had another 'attack' a fortnight ago. Saw the flakes, felt the pain (minor!), got the antibiotics. All OK except the skin is still flaky. I look forward to other replies!
