I have pain in my shoulder that I think is bursitis......?

I have had bursitis once before, but this time it is different in that I now have tingling in my thumb and the first two fingers along with the stiffness and pain. I have had this for over a month now and have tried ice pack and NSAID's to relieve the pain and nothing is currently working. Any ideas?

Yes, I can raise my arm above my head, but it is painful. Resting it doesn't ease the pain and neither does moving/stretching it. My biggest concern, though, is the tingling - there is no numbness, just the pain and tingling.

Have you considered Rotator cuff tendinitis or a possible tear. Can you lift your arm above your head? If you cannot then you may have a torn rotator cuff. you should definitely seek medical attention. Keep the shoulder moving so as not to develop a frozen shoulder.

Ice and be sure to keep your shoulder moving because it can stiffen and get worse. Also try these websites recommended at the bottom for bursitis.

maybe it can be tendonitis, apply ice and try a therapy.........

carpel tunnel??

Sounds like Degenerative Disc Disease to me. I'm no Doctor, just a professional patient when it cames to neck surgery and nerve damage. That tingling is possibly from nerve pressure in your neck area. Every case is different but I would say you definitely need an X-ray or MRI and an appointment with a good nuerosurgeon.
Oh, and also, lotsa luck.
