ELBOW BURSITIS--Anyone know a way to help ease the pain? HELP? |
I have a slight infection of the bursa in my right elbow....does anyone know how I can ease the pain quickly? You mean tendinitis? When I had it, I used an inflated splint band just under the elbow. Rest and Tylenol. First of all you probably have an inflammation, not an infection. You can take anti-inflammatories like aspirin, ibuprophen, naproxin, etc. and stabalize your arm while you sleep with a pillow under it. Heat, like a heating pad, alternating with cold (ice pack) will help. Otherwise, keep the arm as stable as possible and avoid repetition activity. It will take time. You can get a cortisone injection from your doc and that will help almost immediately. I KNOW this hurts. Godloveya. This might sound painful, but that area might have to be injected by your Doctor with a pain killing solution. corticosteroid injection from your doctor |
