Which burns more calories? treadmill or stair climber?


Im pretty sure im going to get one of those small stair climbers because they are cheaper and i dont have room in my room for a treadmill. but im wondering, what one burns moe calories and burns more fat around the stomache and thinghs. well, it depends on the speed setting of the exercise machine. in general, if you're going all out on both of them for the same amount of time, the treadmill is likely to burn more calories. running is about the best cardiovascular exercise out there. however, any workout is better than none; if you keep it up, you will see results with the stairmaster. good luck with your exercise program =)

Hello! This is a popular question (which machine burns the most calories). The answer is neither! It depends on the effort you put into the workout, along with the duration and the intensity, all of which can be measured.

I have a problem with the mini stepper, only because it does not take one through a natural range of motion. No one climbs steps like this, so functionally it is not a great piece of machinery. On the other hand, the treadmill is great, but based on what you have said, it may not work either. There are so many ways to incorporate cardiovascular exercise into your life with buying expensive equipment. The jump rope is by far one of the best, and cheapest, pieces of cardio equipment. Try all types of jumping styles (single jump, double jump, skipping), and this will work you just as well, if not better, than the other mentioned. I hope this helped.
