It burns when I use the bathroom.? |
Im 17, and it hurts when i try to pee. It's like a burning. And when im done, 5 min later i feel like im bursting to pee agian but nothing happens. It burns around the vagina, and it hurts a lot. I know it's NOT and std becuase i havent slept with anyone. I think it might be a UTI, if it is how long do they take to go away and what can i do to reduce the pain. My mom said to just drink a lot of water, but it dosn't help. Sounds like a UTI and you need to see the doc to get on antibiotics. It sounds like a UTI. it a UTI, the only way is to go to the doctor and get antibacitics and drink lots of cranberry juice, go see a doc sounds like cystitis - you need to see a doctor to check its nothing more serious and hasnt got too serious but drink cranberry juice, see a doctor and he will give you a prescription or advice you for OTC medication. there is OTC medication but you should see a doctor. UTI UTI UTI... go to your doc and they'll do a urine test. if it's positive they'll prescribe you some antibiotics and a medicine that helps relieve the pain. the pain med will only be for 3 days, but by then the antibiotic should be working and it'll clear it up. make sure you take the full course of antibiotics so that you don't get another from incomplete treating. Your mother is probably right. The burning and urgency sound alot like UTI. You should see a doctor for a diagnosis and an antibiotic. In the future you should be sure to drink lots of water, and use the bathroom about every 2 hours while you are awake. Sounds like cystitis, your mum is right, keep drinking to flush out your waterworks. Cranberry juice helps with the burning.. if it is a urinary track infection [which it sounds like] go to your doctor it can become a serious health issue drink cranberry juice it helps kill bacteria it sounds like a kidney infection cause i get that when have them.go to the doctors It sounds just like a UTI you need to see the Dr. to get antibiotics as it is an infection it won't go away by itself and if left untreated can go up to your kidneys which really hurts and gets you sick. The also have a medicine call Pyridium which helps the pain and makes you pee orange but it works. Also drink lots of water & cranberry juice. It is a UTI. The only way for it to go away is an antibiotic. If not treated, the infection will spread to your kidney and cause kidney diseases. Sounds like a UTI After you do the antibiotics for UTI eat lots of yougurt with live cultures in it and drink cranberry juice OR take acidophilus to re-establish the good bacteria as antibiotics (which you probably desperately need right now) kind of mess that up. |
