What exercise burns most calories?


i wanna burn some calories and loose some weight but dont know which burns the most. and what exercise like pushs up helps tone some muscules and how many i should do
im 5'10 154-57 pounds. lots of meat around chest,back, and belly

Cross country skiing is number one, followed by running, cycling, and swimming.

Pushups and other calisthenics aren't even on the map because you can't do them long enough to burn a significant number of calories.

Swimming burns the most calories per hour. It's also low stress and low impact.
