Bunions: If the sessemain bone in the foot is out of place is it true that the big toe bends towards it?

The sesmoid bones in the foot are within the tendons of the medial and lateral heads of the flexor halicus brevis. They act as pullys to help the muscle work more efficiently, but if they were out of place, yes the big toe would bend towards the one that is out of place.
