I have got inherited bunions on both my feet, should i have surgery?

i have had them for as long as i can remember, they didnt cause me any real problems when i was younger but now the bunion on my left foot is causing me tremendous pain when i walk, could this be arthritis in it, also how do i check to see if my children might have them

other children do have them, you inherit them,my granddaughter had them removed from both feet....it isn,t a really bad surgery and yes i would do it,if you don,t they will make your feet look ugly, and hurt, plus if kept long enough they will get so bad that your feet looks deformed....I also have one and i plan to have mine removed......

an orthopedic surgeon should be able to answer your questions

Yes have the surgery. You'll feel lots better. But in the future take care of your feet. Also you can use insoles which will keep pressure off of that bunion.
