Bunions, surgery, scars, and toe alignment? |
I had a bunion surgery on my right foot around this year and although the foot looks pretty good, the scars bother me and i think that the big toe sticks out much farther than the rest of them. Is this normal? Also, I'm about to get my next foot done on Janurary 8th, which sucks, but I guess i'm ready this time. Does anybody recommended anything that is very helpful in removing the bunion scars? I have three rather deep ones. Has there been any creams or other treatments that have been helpful for you in the past or even right now? Thanks a lot everyone. Thankfully I have not got a bunion yet. However much depends on the reason for the bunion? Arthritis? Tight Pointy Shoes? All I know is I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and as I age can expect bunions, so I threw out the high heels and restrict my footwear to flat broad fitting types, because I notice during the day my feet will swell. Therefore if I buy shoes, I buy in the afternoon. Having corrected the toe, chances are it will look as if it sticks out because for X amount of years it has been pushing the other toes out of alignment. As for scars, sorry cannot help, but wish you good luck. |
