does anyone know what the oil is? castor oil, almond glow? It is highly unlikely that any topical formulation will do anything for a bunion. This feature is caused by structural changes of the joint itself. Your options of correction are very limited. Castor oil, dear. Make sure it's cold pressed. (I honestly don't know why, I just hear it's better for healing). If you can, get some wool socks. I wouldn't even use the peanut oil, but that's just how I learned how to do it. If you'd like, soak the socks in the castor oil. They don't have to be drippy wet. You can wring them out and even let them dry. But because it's wool (flannel works as well, but I'm not sure they make flannel socks) the oil will be held in the fabric. :) Castor oil is great for any chronic pain, plus, you never have to take it internally (ew!) |
