Has anyone had bunions removed? |
i had this operstions on both feet two years ago.....twice.....my toes are still a little stiff...anyone else have this problem I had one removed on my left foot ten years ago, and that toe is quite stiff especially when it's cold/wet out. But, I can move it, etc., so if you're having range of motion issues, you might want to touch base with your doctor. i never did but thats ok dont you think A couple of my nurse colleagues have had recent (within one year) bunionectomies but they're not complaining of stiff toes, they're complaining of pain. If the toe stiffness interferes with your normal activities or you just plain don't like it, report this to your health care provider or to the surgeon who performed the bunionectomies. Yes, 15 years ago, and one grew back significantly so It needs to be done again. My toes ,as I recall, were stiff for a while. But still get it checked out because the proceedure has been perfected over the decade. I also lost joint movement with my big toes. I no longer have the ability to move my big toes side to side to pick up pencils. i haverecently had bunion surgery also a hammertoe my second tow (the hammertoe) is very still at the moment also the bigtoe and second toe dont quite touch the ground, cant find shoes to fit as its only been 9 weeks post operative. would say the more physiothearpy also massaging you have will help also any foot aids you can wear inside your shoes to try and prevent this reoccuring. |
