I hate my feet! Have seriously painful bunions. Any advice? |
I hate my feet! Have seriously painful bunions. Any advice? To relieve the pain my suggestion is to have surgery. Four years ago at the age of 26 I had surgery to have a bunion removed. The doctor would not perform surgery on both of my feet so he only removed the one on my left. To me the pain was awful the first week following surgery and I had to stay home for 6 weeks. If you have a job as to where you can sit at a desk all day you may be able to go back to work sooner but you must support your foot the majority of the day. Also, use Merderma to lighten the scar that you will have on your foot once the incision has completely closed. I can tell a big difference now when I wear shoes, especially casual to high heel shoes. Soon I'm going to have the right foot done to eliminate the pain I feel when wearing certain shoes. When choosing your podiatrist please ask for references. Hope this helps. |
