How do i help the pain in my bunion?

i have two painful bunions and im only 14! im getting surgery in the summer, but how do i help the pain for the time being?! HELP!!!
~in pain~

Do NOT get surgery unless you absolutely have to.

Check out www.solesupports.com and inquire about their custom foot orthotics. A physical therapist can cast you, and make these orthotics for you.

These orthotics are placed in your footwear and change the position of your foot so that the excessive strain that caused the bunion is reduced/eliminated.

If you have the surgery, I guarantee that within 5 years you will have another bunion if you don't correct/change your foot mechanics.

They have special pads you can try but I would recommend getting back in touch with your podiatrist or whichever dr is doing the surgery to let them know that you are in a lot of pain and want to see what they recommend you do for the pain until you have the surgery done.
