Until the 10th grade I was always the biggest guy in my class. I was not the bully. When we would have bullies and we did. I learned something very important. A bully cannot bully if you ignore them. It is the same as an argument. If one person argues and the other person just stands there and agrees with him there can not be an argument. I am now 60 years old and have never been in a fight or even clenched a fist. Bullies are a temporary thing. When I grew up I was a boss. When I discovered bullies in my workplace, then never worked for me again. Also, when other companies would want job recommendations in writing, I would never answer them. This way I could not be sued and the guy would end up with menial labor. I can turn the other check whenever I want to, but I can be one mean son of a b***h when I want to be.

I am not a young person, but I want the bullying to stop in my workplace. It is so bad right now that they had to hire an outside security firm.

yes i want it to stop. i was bullied at school and im the workplace....poor souls were not ready for me when i bit back at them.

Only the people who are being bullied, can stop the bullying. Stopping bullying is like trying to stop drug dealers, you can only get some of them.

I am a senior and special education student at my school. And YES I want bullying to stop. I have been bullied a many times the first couple of years because of my disability and my habits / weaknesses / fears. I just learned a very important lesson; you cannot reveal your own fear and weakness, therefore you become the center of attention by anyone anywhere. There's no telling whether or not those people are with you or against you, they could more likely be your friends. Many classmates teased me once in a while and I talked to my social counselor about my situations. I would tell security / staff on them / him / her.
